The tour, written down
The AI assistant: commands with / and exact records with @
Type / in the assistant to see the commands your role may use, such as overview, stock, money owed or invoice an order. Commands marked instant are answered by EasyTaskr straight from your records, with no AI model. Type @ to pick the exact customer, order or invoice. Anything that changes a record is shown first with Confirm and Cancel.
Most "AI assistants" in business software are a chat box that guesses. The EasyTaskr assistant is built the other way round. It starts from your records, answers simple questions without an AI model at all, and asks before it changes anything. This tour follows the owner of a sample cash-and-carry at half past eight in the morning, with a list of questions to answer and jobs to start before the phones ring.
What can the assistant do, and what does it not do?
It is worth being exact, because trust depends on it.
| It does | It does not |
|---|---|
| List the commands your role may use when you type / | Show commands your role is not allowed to use |
| Answer instant commands from your records with no AI model | Read or mix in any other business's data |
| Find the exact customer, order or invoice when you type @ | Guess which customer you meant when you have picked one |
| Prepare an invoice or a draft order and wait for Confirm | Raise anything on its own |
| Write caption ideas for a social post as drafts | Publish a post; you schedule it yourself |
| Show run-out estimates and a suggested order quantity | Send a purchase order to a supplier |
Questions that are not instant commands are answered by an AI model, using the records the assistant has read from your business. Those answers are drafts of thinking, not facts on their own, so check the numbers that matter.
Step by step
-
Open the assistant and type /. A menu appears with what you can ask for. In the sample it lists an overview of money owed, stock and late orders; a product's price; stock for one product or what is running low; late orders; money owed; a customer's details and balance; invoice an order; draft an order; and a sales report. Each has a short hint. Keep typing and the list narrows to the commands that match.
-
Run an instant command. Commands marked "instant" are answered by EasyTaskr itself, straight from the database. The owner types /owed. Back comes the list of unpaid invoices with the total still owed, oldest first, and a line saying where the figures came from: your invoices, instant, no AI needed. Because no model is involved, the answer is exactly what your ledger says.
-
Type @ for the exact record. For the next question, the owner types @ and starts a customer's name. A picker opens, grouped into Customers, Orders and Invoices, all from this business only. Picking one means the assistant works on that record, not a guess at it. If a command is already in front, the picker narrows to its own kind, so /customer @ shows only customers.
-
Ask for an invoice with /invoice @order. The owner picks yesterday's order. Nothing is raised yet. The assistant shows a panel marked "Needs your OK": the order, the customer and the amount including VAT, with Confirm and Cancel. The request expires after ten minutes, so an old panel cannot be confirmed by mistake later.
-
Confirm, or walk away. Press Confirm and the invoice is raised through the normal invoices, exactly as if you had done it by hand, and the panel shows the new invoice number with a link. Press Cancel, or leave it, and nothing changes. Only roles allowed to raise invoices see this command at all.
-
Write a social post with /caption. In a new post on the social module, the same composer appears under "Write with AI". The owner types /caption and @ picks a product. Three caption ideas come back using the product's real name and price. Each is a draft with "Use this caption". The product's photo can be added to the post.
-
Check the post preview. The chosen caption drops into the preview beside the composer, where you can change any word. The screen says it plainly: drafts only, nothing is posted until you schedule the post. Scheduling is the next step of the post wizard and is always your decision.
-
Look at the stock suggestions. On the stock pages, AI shows roughly how many days each product has left at the rate it is selling, with a suggested quantity to order. One tap starts a purchase order for you to check. It does not send it. The stock watch tour covers this in detail.
Why ask before acting?
Because a wrong invoice costs more than the time it saves. The assistant can prepare work quickly, but a person who knows the customer is the right one to say yes. The confirm panel is built by the server from the real order, not from the chat text, so what you confirm is what will be raised. And because every change goes through the same invoice and order services a person uses, the usual rules on roles, numbering and VAT all still apply.
Tips for getting good answers
- Use / first. If a command exists for your question, it is faster and, if instant, exact.
- Use @ whenever you name something. Picking the customer with @ leaves no doubt; a typed name might match two customers.
- Read the source line. Each instant answer says where it came from. If it looks odd, open that report.
- Keep AI-written text as a draft. Captions are suggestions. Read them in your own voice before posting.
- Check figures before acting on them. Treat any number from an AI answer as a pointer to the real report.
Common mistakes
- Typing a question in full when a command exists. "Who owes me money?" works, but /owed is instant and exact.
- Expecting the assistant to act without Confirm. It never will. If nothing happened, look for the waiting panel.
- Confirming a panel without reading it. Check the order, customer and amount. That is what the panel is for.
- Assuming a missing command is broken. It is usually your role. Ask the business owner if you need it.
What to do next
Go deeper with the other AI tours: stock watch for run-out estimates and purchase orders, asking your business a question for answers with sources, AI paperwork for invoices and plain-English reports, and AI drafts you approve for products filled in from a name. Questions people ask
What can the EasyTaskr AI assistant do?
It answers questions about your own sales, stock, customers and money owed, prepares an invoice or a draft order for you to confirm, and helps write social media captions. It works only from your own business's records.
What does instant mean next to a command?
The command is answered by EasyTaskr's own code straight from your database. No AI model is involved, so the answer is exactly what your records say.
Can the assistant change my data without asking?
No. When a request would raise an invoice or create a draft order, the assistant shows what it would do with Confirm and Cancel. Nothing happens until you press Confirm.
Why can't I see every command?
The menu only lists commands your role is allowed to use. For example, invoicing an order is offered only to roles that may raise invoices.
Can the assistant see other businesses' data?
No. Every record it reads belongs to your business only, and the @ search only looks through your own customers, orders, invoices, products, suppliers and offers.
Does the assistant post to social media for me?
No. It writes caption ideas as drafts. You choose one, edit it, and nothing is published until you schedule the post yourself.
